The Life/2021 resident program was a future-oriented educational program offered to young doctors in residency with the aim of supporting young nephrologists. It enabled young residents from all over the world to:

• exchange experiences in interactive case discussions
• enjoy a very personal mentorship by our international faculty in small working groups
• liaise with renowned nephrologists
• improve debating skills for topics of immediate clinical relevance
• learn about current trends in nephrology
• connect with like-minded international residents

The Life/2021 resident program was hosted by experts with extensive experience in nephrological education

 

Our chairmen for the Life/2021 nephrology campus Prof. Dr. Christoph Wanner and Prof. Dr. Peter Stenvinkel enthusiastically encourage our ambition to include residents in our program. They are assisted by Prof. Wim van Biesen and Prof. Miriam Banas who promote education for young nephrologists in their institutions. Together, our committee members examine the benefits and leading values that matter to our residents and define topics for workshops and lectures.
