Fatih Kircelli received his associate professor degree in nephrology in 2012.

She has a clinical background combined with research experience in the fields of drug discovery, medical device design and validation, and clinical research. Doctor Stefano Stuard supports the Fresenius Medical Care NephroCare medical leadership in his role as chief clinical officer for the EMEA region in the Global Medical Office. Dr. Stuards’ distinguished career includes nearly a decade with Fresenius Medical Care in clinical governance roles for the company’s EMEA and Latin American regions. He has served as a consultant / director for Nephrology and Dialysis Departments in Italian public and private hospitals. Dr. Stuard received his Ph.D. in Nephrology from the University of Bologna in Italy, and his Doctor of Medicine and surgery with a postgraduate diploma in nephrology from the University of Chieti in Italy. He is the author of more than 200 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and has an H-score of 28.

Distinguished Professor of Nephrology at the University of Missouri Columbia USA. He is also the Program Director for the Nephrology Fellowship Program, Director for Acute Inpatient Dialysis, Chronic outpatient Dialysis and Medicine Specialty Clinics at University of Missouri Health Care. After finishing his training in Internal Medicine (MD) in India, he moved to the UK to specialize in Nephrology. He started his Nephrology training with Professor John Walls (Past President of British Renal Association) at Leicester General Hospital in the UK. He later trained at the Hammersmith Hospitals NHS Trust at the University of London, UK with Prof Edwina Brown. He subsequently moved to the USA and completed a Fellowship in Nephrology under Zbylut J Twardowski, Karl D Nolph and Ramesh Khanna at the University of Missouri Columbia. He is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Professor Misra is Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology and the American College of Physicians. Professor Misra is the Deputy Editor of Hemodialysis International and Associate Editor of Advances in Peritoneal Dialysis. His research interests include preservation of residual renal function on dialysis and alternative hemodialysis schedules. He has published over 100 research papers in the field of dialysis in prestigious journals like New England Journal of Medicine and Kidney International etc. He is the author of several book chapters in prestigious textbooks of dialysis. He has also edited 2 books in the field of dialysis. Professor Misra is the immediate past President of the International Society for Hemodialysis (ISHD) and is currently the Director of Education for the ISHD. He is also the chairman of the Hemodialysis section of the Annual Dialysis Conference, the largest multidisciplinary conference of dialysis professionals in the world. His biggest passion is to expand the reach of high-quality educational tools in hemodialysis all over the world to improve quality and enhance safety in hemodialysis. He has organized several widely attended courses in Hemodialysis across the world in USA as well as Asia.

Professor Alberto Ortiz, MD, PhD is the head of the Department of Nephrology and Hypertension at the University Hospital and Research Institute Fundación Jiménez Díaz in Madrid. His clinical expertise comprises CKD, glomerular disease and podocyte injury, diabetic and Fabry kidney disease, polycystic kidney disease, peritoneal dialysis, and vascular disease in CKD. His many awards include the ERA-EDTA Research Award of Excellence in 2020. He has published over 700 papers that received more than 39,500 citations resulting in the outstanding H-index of 98.

Professor Bernard Canaud is currently an Emeritus Professor of Nephrology at the Montpellier University School of Medicine, France. He headed the Nephrology, Dialysis and Intensive Care Department for 25 years at Lapeyronie University Hospital, Montpellier, France. Main topics of interest are renal replacement therapy, uremic toxicity, vascular access, dialysis efficacy, nutrition, anemia, epidemiology of chronic kidney disease and practice patterns. He contributed to the elaboration and production of the European Best Practice Guidelines particularly on dialysis fluid purity, vascular access, dialysis adequacy, and anemia management. Prof. Canaud is currently the senior chief scientist in the Global Medical Office of Fresenius Medical Care. He acted as chief medical officer for the EMEA-LA region at Fresenius Medical Care from 2012 to 2018. He has published 400 peer-reviewed manuscripts, contributed to more than 80 textbook chapters and attended more than 1000 scientific medical meetings. Prof. Canaud has received several awards and distinctions from international nephrology societies including the prestigious Belding Scribner award from the ISHD in 2010. He also received the “Légion d’Honneur” as recognition for his lifetime of medical achievement from the French president in 2009. In March 2019, the ADC and Missouri University, USA, awarded him for his lifetime achievement in nephrology and commitment to renal replacement therapy.

Dr. Nandakumar is a nephrologist with more than 30 years of experience and is currently Director of Medical Services ,Fresenius Medical Care Singapore. He has had his initial medical training and experience in India and received his MRCP ( UK) from London . He worked as Nephrologist in Ministry of Health, Muscat , Sultanate of Oman for 10 years. In 1995 he joined National Kidney Foundation Singapore, where he worked until March 2020 and was Director of Clinical Services when he left and joined FMC in April 2020 as Medical Director.
